I bought a 10 day in 2 months global pass through renfe with the 50% discount the currently offer to spanish citizens and residents. However, I am in the Netherlands, so the pass had to be received by my parents and sent through post to my residence here. The Spanish postal service however has once again shown its wonderful ability and lost the envelope. I have reservations to travel on Monday, but I won’t have my physical pass. I have pictures, and I have my ID. I also have the reservations tickets. Can I still travel with these things? Is there a way I can cancel the physical pass and use the app since it is an emergency? Is there a way to get a new global pass in such a short amount of time?

Mention your travel date, so that you get prioritised correctly.


The sender is legally responsible and should therefore file a complaint with the Spanish post and request a compensation.

You can't travel with pictures of your pass or with your reservations only.
