I know I buy the interail pass through their website, but where do you actually book the train. I’ve got their planner app, but somebody said that isn’t very good. Can you use the interail pass on other train booking apps, or do u need to use the pass on the interail app and just use the other train apps for live information

Making the reservations (if needed) is completely separate to your pass. So yes, you can make them elsewhere - in fact it’s best to!

And for searching timetables, don’t rely on the app. It’s often out of date. www.bahn.com is much better
