Apologies - a similar question has been asked but the answers did not make sense to me. Am starting to plan !

Does my first train trip have to start in my country of residence (UK) ?

Due to work commitments we are breaking our trip into two 3 week segments.

Would it be better to  (if it matters):

1 - use the Outbound journey at the start then fly back/out to UK and then use Inbound journey at the end.

2 - fly out/back to UK and then Outbound/Inbound on 2 leg

Does continuity of travel matter - eg last train ended in Stockholm so next train must start in Stockholm

Many thanks in advance if you’re able to help

No you can start where you want.

You can use the Inbound/Outbound journey at any time during the pass validity in any order

Means for example
fly out return by train to UK
take then the train to leave UK
and finally fly in.

I had quite huge gaps in my passes like last train was to ankara the next one was from Oslo between this City i took the plane. It doesn´t have to be straight continoued.
