View originalThis case is of course quite easy and anyone can think of it by themselves; Via DE all the way. ICE from Basel to Mannheim-VAREO RE to Saarbrucken-Trier-then (currently SEV-bus ) into LUX. Or pay a measly 5€ extra and use direct bus from Saarbr to LUX-will cut off journey time.
OR-use the right IC along river Rhine-see the Lorelei-as far as Koblenz-that is the other end of the VAREO trains-to Trier-etc.-along the Moselle with nice veiws.
