Hello,

My husband is French and plan to buy interail pass to go around EU countries. Can he use interail pass to travel in France as well or he has to buy ticket separately? Thanks,

With Interrail  your husband would just have two traveldays in France.

If your husband lives in France he can buy an Interrail pass. However, he is only allowed to travel for 2 days in France according to the outbound/inbound rule. If your husband lives outside of Europe he must buy an Eurail pass. With a Eurail pass he can travel as much as he likes in all countries that are part of the Eurail offer.

Sawasdee khrap, khun Doungjai,

IF husband chooses to use EUrail he may encounter problems when travelling in FRance/Farangses when it is checked-he would then need have official proof from the rattabaan Thai that he lives there permanently. IF you accompany him the Thai passpt is sufficient.

Thank you guys.
