Whether you can change a reservation, depends on the train and where you booked it.
Travel days in your pass are independent of any reservations. You can cancel travel days as long as validity hasn't started yet. It's not a good idea anyway to activate them in advance. The best is to activate a travel day just before boarding the first train of the day.
