hi. If I have to change a train in between the travel day because of delay, do I have to put the new one in my pass and delete the old? Thx in advance.

That's the idea indeed. In My Trip, tap on the "switch” to remove the old train from your pass and then add a new one. You can remove the old train entirely by holding it and then a menu will come up with a delete option.
