Connecting passes

Hi,

We want to connect two passes together for our reservations, to make sure that we can sit together ☺️ We haven't activated our passes yet (due to covid) but we are wondering whether it is possible to duplicate our trip (on the website) and connect our passes together without activating them? Just in case covid does not allow us to travel.

Pleasure! Exactly :relaxed: just to clarify, adding a journey to your Pass is not a reservation. If reservations are also required on your journey, you will need to book and pay for a seat reservation separately. 

You can already start planning by adding your journeys. With making the actual seat reservations I would wait until you are certain of your exact travel dates.

@Nanja Thank you for your response! Very helpful :) So we can make journey reservations already without activating the mobile pass? And then activate the pass when it is clear that we are able to travel?

Hi, good question! Each Pass needs its own trip, so if you've got a few Passes on your device, you’ll need a separate trip for each Pass. If you've already created a trip, you can duplicate an existing trip to connect a copy of that trip to another Pass. You’ll need to add your journeys to all your trips as you travel, but it’s easy to add journeys to multiple trips at once from the planner – just tap to select the trips you want to add your journey to. You can change the trip your Pass is connected to up until you activate your Pass. Once your Pass is activated, you can’t disconnect a trip or connect a different trip.
