Hello,

I am born in Germany but currently living in France (I have a proof of tenancy in France). But Germany is still the country of residence on my ID, because I’m staying in France for one semester only. Can I now book an interrail pass, in which I choose France as my country of residence and the starting/ending point (because this is where I live), even though its not on my passport? Or is the country of residence always the country marked on the ID?

Thank you

Hi Cla, from what I understand you do not have official governmental documents (note that a visa alone is not a proof of residency) confirming your residency in Europe. If that is true, you will have to select Germany as your country of residence when purchasing your Pass.
