Hi, I would like to book a ticket from Germany to Paris for December 17th and come back the next day, December 18th back to Munich. What is the best pass for this type of trip?

If that is the only journey you are making then searching for single/return tickets from the likes of bahn.com is likely the best option.
The cheapest is to buy a Supersparperis Europa ticket at Deutsche Bahn. Right now the price from München to Paris for a train leaving at 6.51 is 74,90 EUR on the 17th of December.
Also check if a Probe BahnCard 25 would make it cheaper (if you don't have a BC25 yet). It's only €17.90 and will amortise pretty quickly for such journeys.
