First travel day after 28th birthday on Youth pass

I have read all the posts about this topic, but the rules are still not 100% clear for me.

I have a Youth mobile pass and turn 28 on May 8th and need to activate it by May 7th when I am still 27 years old.

The question is, can my first travel day be on May 8th or later (within the 30 days validity of course)? The rules says that the pass must be valid (activated) before I turn 28, not that I have to use the first travel date before I turn 28. Right?

The first travel day needs to be when you're still 27. Activating also means selecting your first travel day.
