Ma Meer

In descriptions of interrail flexipass is written, that we news to write down our trips in correct order. We travel greece with 6 days (ferrys) and we want to book our trip back to italy in advance/ reservate seats. Is it possible to write down 1. and last/6th trip an fill in the trips between afterwards?

Thanx, community!

If you look under "Reservations" on this page you can read that you must make the reservation in the order you will take the ferries.

No, you need to enter the ferries you take in the correct order on the paper pass, but the reservations are separate of the pass.

However, there has been information that you need to book the ferries in the order that you want to take the ferries.

@rvdborgt Do you have more information about the importance of making the ferry reservation in the correct order?

Although not familiar with paper passes, I am sure you can get your reservations without writing your journey into your pass, just as with a mobile pass.

As often noted in the community answers, reservations are not linked to your pass, but rather complementary. You can get them without writing the train details in your pass until you travel. Then you present both your now completed pass and your reservation (if needed) together.

As long as you have added your train to your pass before you board  (and have any mandatory reservations to go with it)  you can travel on any train in the Interrail scheme.

The whole idea of an Interrail pass is the flexibility to change plans etc, hence the guidance to only add your trips to your paper pass in order and only when you know you are going to travel.

The TRAIN/RAIL pass is NOT valid for ferries in GR-there is a special Greek Ferry pass-with loads of unanswered questions and many reported problems from users-only available as paper pass and not mobile, so all in all I rather think there must be some big misunderstanding here.

This specific point of not being able to book any ferry BEFORE the day of that 1st booking has also been reported here-again this applies to ONLY he FERRY pass.

Maybe that will work but nobody knows. This is only described this way for the Greek Islands pass.

The Interrail Greece pass cannot be used on the ferries. Not even with a discount.

@Ma Meer What type of pass do you have?
