Hi!

If I buy the global paper pass I have to chose the starting date of my trip. I have several questions concerning this fact:

1. If it happens that I can't travel during the time I chose, is it possible to change the date or change the ticket?

2. Do I have to leave my country on the starting day of the Ticket or can I leave a few days later?

3. If I chose the 10 days in 2 months ticket do I have to be back in my home country on the exact day two months after leaving or can I come back earlier?

  1. You can't change the date of a paper pass. You'd have to exchange the pass. By the way, you can also buy a paper Interrail from the Deutsche Bahn ticket office (without any postage fee).
  2. No, you can start later if you want.
  3. You can come back anytime you want. But you can only travel in your country of residence on 2 of your travel days.
