Hi !

my friend and I want to travel in Greece with the interrail Greek island boat pass. However we may not receive it before we leave. Do we need it or can we just book our boats before (which must be done even in possession of the physical pass) and just travel with our boats tickets ?

thanks !

Hello Sam.

Unfortunately, as you may know, there is no electronic version of the Greek Islands Pass, which means the physical, printed copy of the Pass is necessary when travelling. If you don't have enough time to have it delivered to your regular address, perhaps you can have it shipped to your address in Greece? Make sure you warn the hotel/hostel staff beforehand, so they know to sign for the delivery and keep the Passes for you. Otherwise, I'm afraid you will need to purchase regular ferry tickets to complete your journeys.

Kind regards
