i won an Interrail Pass this week. In the formula i filled out 3 months ago, i clicked on group pass so i can take my friends with me. How does this work? Can they go with my ticket as well, without paying ??

Did your friends also apply for the DiscoverEU pass? In that case they should have given your reference number with their applications so that your applications were handled together.
If your friends haven't applied for the DiscoverEU pass they have to pay for their passes themselves.
