I just bought an Interrail Global Pass for use in Sweden this summer.

To activate the pass in the Rail Planner app I need to enter my passport or ID number. Can I use my drivers license number instead of passport number? I don’t have a national ID card (These are not issued in Denmark)

Citizen from the Nordic countries are allowed to travel within these countries without having a passport. But we need to have some other kind of picture ID (like a drivers license).

I don’t want to bring my passport if it is’t nessesary. The reason is that I will go on a hiking trip and don’t want to risk my passport gets wet or otherwise damaged. A drives license (plastic card) is more durable.

The drivers license ID should be enough :)

You have to add the Number of a offical document that is valid for crossing borders :)

As the drivers license is enough within Scnadinavia you should be fine with the drivers license :)
