I use to travel with paperpass and prefere that. But due to the discount right now, and I don't yet now my travel date, I consider trying the mobile pass. But are there still problems when using the app, or are most of the problems people experienced solved? I am not super keen to rely on technology, if it is not working properly or difficult to use.

I never had an issue, and used already about 10 mobile passes. Complaints do come up, but with the big majority it goes seamlessly. Problems seems to be fixed quite quickly when contacting customer support.

I find it less stressy than a paper pass (which I always quadruple check to have packed each time in every train).

I find it quite straightforward to use. It has the same logic as a paper pass. Terminology can be a bit confusing for first time users, but there are good tutorial videos on the interrail website to set the pass up and use it.

The mobile pass works much better now than it did some years ago.
