We purchased our mobile passes last night with plans to travel from Barcelona to Pisa this morning. When we put our passes into the app, we receive a “something went wrong” message. We have extended our hotel stay in Barcelona by one day to hopefully get it ironed out. But we urgently need help!

Please note that you even with a Railpass need a reservation for the Highspeed trains from Barcelona to France and France to Italy

Don´t know your exact route. The reservations for the TGV from Barcelona to France are limited and quite often sold out :/

Spain, France, Italy are the 3 non Eurail Friendly countries as Highspeed trains all need reservations and especially the International Highspeed reservations are limited and quite expensive.

Sorry for that experience but Eurail is not everywhere so flexible as advertised :)


Ugh thank you for your answer! We may be completely changing our itinerary 


  1. Go to More > Settings, scroll to the bottom and enable error logging. This will help customer service.
  2. Check if there's an app update and install it if there is. App version should be 23.1.0. Go to More and scroll to the bottom to check.
  3. Do you all have an iPhone or Android? If iPhone, which iOS version?
  4. Do contact customer service (see link above) with details about all passes that have this problem and mention that you want to travel tomorrow. Post a new message here once you've done that.

@rvdborgt  yes I have done those things including the big reporting. My app is the new one and we both have iphones.
