HI! We´re planning a trip from Vienna to istanbul and have bought the 5 days in 1 month train ticket. im wondering; Do night trains count for 2 days with this pass? since technically we´re travelling over 2 days

If you board the train before midnight, you don’t need an additional day for the following date. It’s just not allowed to change trains past midnight. So a night train is just one day - the day of departure - until it*s final stop. So you may do Vienna to Istanbul with two travel days.
