I am trying to plan a journey for a 60th birthday. But i am a little confused when it comes to using the pass in your own country. By what i read it is one journey each way.

My main confusion is this. I will be travelling from Carlisle to London, and then London to Brussels on the same day.

Does the pass cover both trains, apart from the reservation fees?

Any help to sort my confusion much appreciated.

Yes, that is covered, you can use your 2 days in your home country as you would a day anywhere else.

Sorry just want to check, am i also covered for return journey 10 days later?

If you use 1 day for the outward trip then you will have 1 home country day remaining, remember these days are part of your overall pass, not extras. Also they do not have to be used at beginning/end, you can take them at any point in the pass overall validity.

Note that you need a Global Pass to use it in your own country on 2 days.

A one country pass is only valid in this booked country.
