When I buy the pass on the webpage for 5 people, the total amount; do I get 5 different passcodes in the phone mobile app, to enter into 5 different My Trip plans. These would be on the same phone under 5 different trip names; is that correct?

You can have them on the same phone (you'll always have to travel together then) or on multiple phones. There will always be 5 Trips.
OK, next time I’ll address the Community. But just to follow up. If I pay for the family, 5 persons, having stated in the planner that I have 5 persons then I should get 5 separate passcodes from Eurail in their confirmation email to me? I’m old, 66, I just want to be sure what I am doing.
