Rail Planner: Can I change the authentication (Apple touch id)? It is not working but I need it to activate my Pass.

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the activation of a pass by using the touch id (apple) for authentication. My Touch ID isn’t working well anymore, but I have to use it to activate my pass. Is there a chance to change from touch id to password e.g.?

Hi @stina 

If you want to access your pass without TouchID, you must create first a password or a PIN to access your phone additional to the TouchID.

If a PIN code has not been set up for your device (that is, if your screen always unlocks without a code), you will have to set up this code in your device's settings before proceeding with your Pass's activation. This can also be substituted with a finger print Touch ID.

What's more, the same code might be requested when trying to activate new travel days.
