I was exposed to a train delay which led to me missing the last train to my destination. According to the train company's website, it says that you get compensation on the ticket. How can  I prove my ticket? Because I have an interrail card.

If you missed the last train of the day are are stranded, I hope the operator provided assistance they are obliged to give, e.g. alternative transport, or overnight accommodation and a ticket for the next day.
