Transfer Passes

My partner has both of the passes on his iPad. We want to transfer them both to my phone. I read somewhere that you can only transfer passes once. Is this the case?

You can transfer an active pass yourself only once. After that, you need to ask customer service.

However, AFAIK, there's no limit if you cancel activation and then load the pass again on a phone.

Keep in kind that you can't trave separately if both passes are on 1 device.

Also please don't activate passes (or travel days) in advance. There's no advantage in doing that, only a possible disadvantage: you can only cancel activation until 23:59 before validity starts. If anything happens after that, e.g. you wake up ill, then it will be too late to cancel and you'll loose travel days.
