hi, I have an Eurail Global Pass, trying to book online London to manchester on January 4th , 2024 but can not fond the way to do that online. my question is if it is possible and if not if I shoud do it at the Avantti Station in person or what are my best options?

Seat reservations are optional and free of charge in the UK (except Eurostar and night trains) → Rail Planner is wrong, they’re not required. They’re recommended on a busy route like London - Manchester.
You can make one at a counter for sure or through one of the railway operators, GWR works good. See :
