We will be traveling 14 days while in Italy.  for 7 days we will be traveling the train from Cortona to Florence each day.  So we will need to have use of the pass for 14 days.  When I try to pick a pass it tells me 4 days in a month.  I want access to the trains for 12 days.  Can you still reserve seats and book train rides in advance with a Eurail Pass?

Venice to Florence one day

Florence to Cortona 8 days

Cortona to Florence 8 days

Cortona to Rome 3 days

I doubt whether a Eurail pass will be most cost-effective for this.

Check regular prices on trenitalia.com. For the 8 days commuting between Cortona and Florence, there will probably be a regional pass or subscription. Maybe @Angelo has an idea?

Hi,

good question. I search for it on trenitalia.com but I didn't find any week abo. I would ask in florence at the ticket office. There should be weekly tickets for specific routes.
