Travelling from London to Liverpool with Eurail Global Pass

Hello there,

I’m arriving in London and I need to get to Liverpool. I was planning on using my Eurail Global Pass (which I will be using for visiting other countries). The problem is that the only option recommended is a train from London to Liverpool of Avanti West Coast, and I don’t understand if my Eurail Global pass includes this franchise. Is this true? If not, how can I benefit from the pass within London and Liverpool, since I will be travelling a lot between these two cities?

Thank you so much.

Sure your pass is valid on all trains in the UK except Heathrow Express (maybe) and heritage railways. Valid on the Elizabeth Line and London Overground but not on the Underground (use a contactless or Oyster card).

Your train will leave from London Euston station. Seat reservations are free of charge and optional (recommended on a busy mainline like London - Liverpool). If you'd like to book a seat use gwr.com or visit any train station.
