What date does one use to record a sleeper train?

Hello, beautiful community.

The use case is this: On a sleeper train that arrives the next day, what day does one enter to record the trip on the paper pass?  Day of departure, or arrival?

This is on a Global Interrail Pass, 5 days in a month.  I have one day left on it.
