Is there a possibility to buy the greek island pass somewhere in Greece, especially in Thessaloniki?
As there is no digital/online version and the shipping times to Greece are to long...

We've read reports last year that this pass was not available in Greece. Not from the ferry operators and not from Greek railways.

Deutsche Bahn should sell it though. Or are you already in Greece? You could try calling DB (+49 30 2970) and see when they think it could be sent.

Thank you very much!
I’ll try! :D

Google and you´ll find a report from some tourist-newsppr some 2-3 yrs old now, this said it was only available online. DO your homework!! as many ferries to islands are run by different companies and NOT included in the pass!

IF you hold an IR/EU-pass and only want to really use any of the many GR-IT ferries: most give discounts of 20-30% to juniors or even all passholders.

Deutsche Bahn also sell it and that means you can buy it at DB ticket offices, DB agents and by phone.

We have the same problem that Florike has. Did you manage to order your greek islands pass to greece ? If yes, how did you receive it? Can you order it to the interrail office in athens?

Thanks for the help

Marius

If you're still in Germany, then the best is to go to a DB ticket office.

Unfortunately we are already in Montenegro

You could also try at a ticket office there. They will probably sell the normal Interrail passes, but I don't know about the Greek islands pass.
