hello, i have a student visa from czech republic and i wanted to check if that counts as a resident so i can buy the Interrail pass.

If you are resident in Europe then Interrail.
If you are resident outside Europe then Eurail.
While this is the official rule, it is often be easier for people to buy a pass that corresponds with their Nationality/passport as passport is the default ID for passes.
