Why is it always 'Mobile Passes'?

As a Senior and frequent Interrail Users. Why is there no Paper pass for the Black Friday sale?

My partner have mobile phones but have no real need for a Smart Phone.

This doe appear to be a bit discriminatory……...hmmmmmm
