Thanks Mcdav. Have you ever visited Belgrade. I was planning on going from Bar (Montenegro) to Budapest with a stop in Belgrade (and bus ( 6 hrs) to Budapest from ur advice) to break up the journey and was just wondering if this is worth it. My other option was travelling through croatia which I know also involves a bus.would u recommend travelling through croatia or serbia from Montenegro to reach Budapest. Thankyou
Hi niamhi was also going to travel from Budapest to Ljubljana but assumed there was a direct night train. Have u heard somewhere that’s there’s a rail replacement service? Thankyou
Did not you ask this multiple times before? still hoping that someone else might tell you OK-great-plenty-and all from a shiny new station! Currently the ONLY train crossing real borders to Bgr is the one to Cerna Gora. ALL THE REST is suspended. IF you are hell bound to use those iron monsters on rails as much as can-then go to seat61,.com and read it till final end-its extremely pro-train so tries to minimize the missing links between outer ends of vague raillines in desolate tiny villages. And situation will not change by the day-not even by the week. There will be immediate big hurrays and cheers if any minor trainlink gets reinstated-as we saw with the weekends only link PL-LT and the reinstated overnite to IST from Sofia/Bucuresti Just wanted someone other than you to reply you wanker. @mcadv get a life
Don’t understand people asking all the time for refunds.. especially as it doesn’t really pay off doing all this stuff for getting a few euros… For the wasted time better to work and earn easier money that way :-D I fully agree with you, delays may be annoying but they are just a fact of interrailing and need managing. The best advice from this forum is simply make life awkward for the train operator when you finally get to your destination, and if necessary get them to fix it, as is their duty. In the event you do not get satisfaction just get on with plan B, Yes upon research the amount may seem insignificant, I was just wondering who would be best to contact. Inter rail or eastern railway as The taxi cost 100£, it was a cancelled train not delayed. Ive since done both thanks to the helpful links from the forum.
