Sorry @AnnaB but these statistics are perfectly compatible with my statement. They do not say anything about the magnitude of the big delays. Just look at the share of red on the graphics. Just a few of my recent examples :stockholm-hamburg, dec 2022: train departed with more than 40 min delay hamburg-stockholm, oct 2022: train arrived with more than 60 min delayIt’s important for people planning a trip across Sweden to take these potential delays into account.
Plan some buffer time on the Swedish trains: they are comfortable (wifi etc) but regularly 30-60 min late.
Not sure who is benefitting the most from these partnerships but clearly it’s damaging to interrail if they don’t keep their benefits up-to-date. Planning train trips (esp. budgeting them) is already a major hurdle. They shoot themselves in the foot if they claim discounts which just don’t exist.
