@rvdborgt thank you very much. I did wonder that as the carriages available are numbered 3,4 and 7. That’s reassuring and I can keep my plans flexible depending on the weather. Many thanks
Thanks for the reassuring explanation @Hektor I’m new to all this - you can probably tell! - so it’s really helpful to ask questions and get quick replies from experts. Thank you
Thank you @Hektor That’s what I thought but because the website is saying no tickets available it looks as though availability is limited
@Al_G That’s brilliant - thanks very much for replying so quickly
That’s great - thank you
Thank you for such a quick response. I did try bahn.de and sbb.ch too but I still didn’t get the option I’m now probably going for. I wanted a bit longer at Zurich as this is my first Interrail trip and finding my feet a bit. I meant to say Railjet not Nightjet - sorry, head is spinning with it all a bit. Where is the best place to book non-mandatory reservation for Railjet Express please? Thanks for your help
Thank you @rvdborgt for your help. I was getting confused between the various different websites, apps and booking systems. It doesn’t seem v easy to book reservations directly on the rail companies websites, although I realise some of the apps let you do this. I had also seen some not so positive reviews about people’s experiences on Rail Europe, but I guess that will happen on any booking system. I only needed three reservations so in the end I used the Interrail website after checking the actual times elsewhere and all seem to have gone through ok. Many thanks
