Hello everyone,I would like to draw your attention to a problem that I have noticed, especially when planning my Interrail trip to the British Isles next summer, but which may also be a problem in other countries. The ferry route between Rosslare Harbour (Ireland) and Pembroke (South Wales) is currently operated by Irish Ferries. In recent weeks, the Norbay ferry (aka Economy Ferry) has been operating there, on which no pedestrians or cyclists are permitted - so you can't travel on it as a train passenger. The pedestrian-friendly ferry "Oscar Wilde", which is actually intended for this route, has not been used on this route in recent weeks. It is currently running again, but only until March 19 according to the plan, then it will be the Norbay ferry again.Although there is an alternative route offered by Stena Line from Rosslare to Fishguard, on which foot passengers are always permitted, Fishguard is less convenient for many people, and this route was also completely canceled until mid-
My girlfriend and I are planning an Interrail trip to the UK this summer. We would like to take the Eurostar from Paris to London on 28 June. We have not yet bought an Interrail pass as we are still hoping for a discount. So we have not yet been able to book seats on the Eurostar. Now we are not sure how long we can wait, i.e. how quickly do Eurostar seats usually sell out? I am happy to hear any tips and experiences :)
Dear community,I‘m planning a reservation for the SJ EuroNight 346 from Stockholm to Hamburg via the interrail reservation service, but I‘m a bit confused.I would like to know if booking a "Sleeping compartment 2 class" for my partner (female) and me (male) means that we get a shared compartment? Since it is also mentioned on the SJ website that you can choose between ladies and gents, we are unsure whether we will then be assigned separate compartments.Thank you in advance!
