I ma trying to make a reservation for just over a weeks time from London to Paris. The b-europe site shows some availability, but when I try to book on Eurail site it says not available. This is not just for one train, but seemingly any I check at the moment!

Should I trust availability on the b-europe site? Or will I get an error when I try to book? Do they sometimes differ like this?

Which b-europe site have you checked? This is the site where you see the availability of pass holder seats for the Eurostar.

What route, date and time are you trying to make a reservation for?

Both websites should be getting their reservations from the same source, so I can only assume that there's a problem with the connection between Eurail and Eurostar.

B-Europe is absolutely trustworthy and they have far fewer booking problems than Eurail, as far as I know. It's Belgian railways. For which date and departure time do you see a difference? Anyway, if your journey is next week, book ASAP.

Thanks. Yes thats the site I was checking.

London to Paris on Sept 25th pm , 1st class. - b-europe has 2 trains available (was 4 yesterday), Interrail nothing.

Can b-europe bookings be easily changed for 15E later as Interrail ones can?

Some difference of opinion but the reservation voucher from either source is the same and does say changes can be made, but need to be 7 days in advance. If you miss your connection because of a train delay then you need to contact the station support for operator and E* to find you an alternative at no cost.

Belgian railways say in their t&c it can be exchanged before departure (so not 7 days):

They say the same when ordering. Is it Eurostar saying it's 7 days before departure?

Hello! I am not sure if this is an availability issue. In case you have checked the regular seats availability on b-europe.com, please be kindly reminded that this information is very fragmented and the website doesn’t take into account that some trains have limited seats available for Pass holders.

Please check this link and let me know if it works for you:
https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Pass#Outbound
On this page, on the bottom right, you need to select the Pass option and then click on show trains.

Don't forget to enter the Pass cover number on the 3rd step.

I hope this helps!
Kind regards,

Annie
