Reservations in France - sit together with different passes

Hi! I have a question about booking seats together when we have different passes. My friend has 7 days in 1 month, I want to buy 10 days in 2 months. We will travel separately for a few days, but then together in France and the Netherlands, where we need reservations. How do we get those reservations to be next to each other? Thanks!

No reservations are needed or even possible in the Netherlands

For France you can book here (4€ booking fee per order, no matter how many trains or people) : https://travel.b-europe.com/Eurail-GE/en/booking-tgv#TravelWish

The same for the expensive Thalys here between Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam : https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Pass#TravelWish

If you've got time, it's cheaper to take a TGV to Lille and then use reservation-free IC trains

Thanks, I didn’t know about the reservation website, thought it was possible only through Interrail. That solves it!

There's often a better way than interrail as it adds 2€ booking fee per person per train :)

And let us know for questions

When you buy for more than one passenger you only need one pass, and then only for some services.
