I was left stranded in Hamburg on the 9th January when my train to Copenhagen was cancelled and the train strike commenced the following day. I ended up getting a flight from Hamburg to Copenhagen which will be covered by travel insurance but I need to provide evidence that there was a train strike on that day. Is there an official notice I can download of the strike on that day that I can provide as proof there was a strike?

Hi @RandyLarcombe, the official announcement about the strike can be found on https://www.deutschebahn.com/de/presse/pressestart_zentrales_uebersicht/Mehrtaegiger-GDL-Streik-wird-Bahnverkehr-vom-10-bis-12-Januar-massiv-beeintraechtigen--12625678. Unfortunately, it's only written in German.

I hope it helps you to report this issue to your travel insurance. Have a nice day!
