I'm from Australia and planning a trip to Europe in July with 2 of my friends. We are planning to get a train from Barcelona to Valencia, and I was looking at the highspeed Euromed (RENFE) train as it is quick and supposedly scenic. However, I have found out that you cannot make reservations online, so I was wondering how I'm suppose to reserve a seat on this train? Obviously going into the office is not an option as I'm on the other side of the world, and doing it when I get to Europe would be too risky as these trains supposedly sell out fast.I have read that I could potentially call a Swiss ticket office, or that I could call RENFE? However I only speak English, would the phone operator even be an English speaker?I have seen that I can book online/on the RENFE app roughly 60 days in advance, but this is without Eurail discount. Is it worth just doing it like that, or is the discount substantial?Any help would be appreciated as a lot of this is foreign to me and has been a nightmare t
I’m trying to book the high-speed train from Barcelona to Valencia (Renfe Euromed) on July 7th, however when checking all the popular websites to book online (Trainline, Renfe, Omio) there is no option to book this train. I have checked other dates out of curiosity and sometimes the train comes up and sometimes it doesn’t. For example, it is available to book on May 13, but not on May 12 or 14. Can someone please help?
Hi I recently just booked a 4 bed couchette for the Berlin > Zurich night train. I booked for 3 people, which include myself (male) and my two friends (females). I just have a couple questions: Will we be sharing the same couchette? It says we are in the same coach but have different accommodation numbers (please see attached photo for screenshot of ticket) If ÖBB tries to segregate males and females, will we be separated? If not, what will happen with 4th spot in the couchette if there are both a male and females already in the couchette? Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)
Hi I’m trying to plan my itinerary for my upcoming Europe trip this July/August. I originally was planning to go from Berlin > Fussen > Zurich but since I cannot find an easy way to get to Fussen, I was considering just going straight to Switzerland instead. I was hoping I could get the train from Berlin > Zurich via the Nightjet, but was just wondering if this is included in the Eurail pass as I cannot see it on this Eurail Railway map: https://www.eurail.com/en/plan-your-trip/railway-mapAny help would be appreciated. Thank you. :)
