Hi everyone. Here’s my situation:I have an Interrail Global Pass with 15 days in 2 months When I will do my inbound journey back home, I might not have used all the days included in the pass Let’s say I have used 12 days and then I do inbound journey (it counts as 1 day?) so I have used 13 days. My question is: do I still have the right to use the 2 remaining days? Of course I can’t repeat an outbound journey, but I can pay a full ticket for the outbound and once I’m out of my country, can I use Interrail Pass normally until using all the available days? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide 🤗
Hi everyone, I am conducting an academic research about the liberalization of passenger high-speed rail and currently I am trying to find which countries in Europe have competition, i.e. more than one rail operator, in high-speed rail.So far what I know:Spain has competition in high-speed rail with three companies (Iryo, Ouigo and Renfe) In Italy, there is competition in high-speed rail with TrenItalia and Italo Within France, the only competition is found in international routes: Barcelona - Lyon (Renfe) and Paris - Lyon - Milano (TrenItalia and SNCF). But for all the other routes, only SNCF.I wanted to ask if you know which other countries have more than one operator in their high-speed rail network.Any help will be highly appreciated!🤗
Hi everyone! I will travel in August:Barcelona to Toulouse: I wanted to do Barcelona - La Tour de Carol with line R3 of Rodalies de Catalunya (Renfe) and then La tour de Carol - Toulouse with TER (SNCF). On another date I want to take a TER Lyon - Annecy. For the Rodalies de Catalunya R3 train, do I just walk in the train and show my pass to the ticket inspector? Is there anything I should be aware of? I know how Spanish stations work (I am from Barcelona) but I don’t know what I’ll need inside of the train. For the TER, same question: do I just get in and show the pass? I read somewhere that last year TER trains in south-east were taken out of interrail but shortly after the pass was accepted again so I guess it should be okay. All the information you can provide will be highly appreciated! Thanks everyone for your help 😊

I checked different dates in case it’s sold out, but I can’t reserve in March, April, or August. The date I want to travel : August 16th.Train: it’s a night train, I think it is called EuroNight.Operator: if I’m not wrong, OBB.I also checked OBB’s website, it says Ticket not available to purchase - or similar.I feel you need a PhD to book trains crossing borders haha!Anyone has any idea for me to be able to book this train? All help will be much appreciated! Also really interested in knowing if I can avoid or lower reservation fees by calling somewhere or booking at an operator site.Kindly,Xavier from Barcelona Interrail Reservation doesn’t allow to bookOBB reservation doesn’t allow to book
TGV Barcelona - Valence for 11 august 2023. Times not matching in Interrail Website and SNCF Connect. Edit: I saw already another post where it is explained that schedules on Interrail website are not reliable as updated less frequently than that of operators.
Interrail website allows me to book SNCF trains Barcelona - France for this month but not for this summer. However, on SCNF connect website the train can be booked. Will they book it for me if I call? it feels counter-intuitive to call now that everything is online, but if someone has already reserved via phone and it works I will do so.
Hi everyone, I want to reserve seats for Barcelona - Freiburg for the 12, 13 or 14 of August.I am new to Interrail. In the past I’ve done the route Barcelona - Freiburg, but SCNF keeps making things complicated.I used to do Barcelona - Paris and then Paris - Freiburg but, the TGV Paris - Freiburg doesn’t show up anymore. Also, I don’t understand how should I reserve a seat with SCNF? I have bought the Interrail Global pass. I read on this forum I have to call them? Is there an online way to book this? The Interrail website gives me reservation prices but when I click on each option the price disappears and there’s no booking option. Also the price is quite high, like 48€. Is that usual? Also RENFE says they will have AVEs Barcelona - Lyon before summer, but they are still not rolling. Any help on how to do Barcelona - Freiburg by train and on how to get SNCF seat reservations will be welcomed😊
