Hey!Would be nice to make a collection of offers that can be well combined with an Interrail pass (leisure passes, museumpasses etc.). I am going to start with some interesting offers:Swiss Museum Pass, valid for one year, unlimited visits of museums and some castles (500+ attractions) for 166 CHF per year. If you have a Halffare-Card or GA even cheaper Dutch Museum Pass, valid for one year, when buying a preliminary one (direct in the museum) you can only visit 5 museums at once. Only after you get the plastic card you can visit unlimited one. Price 64,9 Euro + some administration fee for delivery (around 3 euro). They also deliver abroad. Buying online beforehand is only possible with a Dutch bank account. Around 400 museums can be visited for free after purchase. museumPASSmusées (Belgium): Price 59 euro, order online. Only available with address in Belgium, so you need to know someone in Belgium to whom you can send it. 200+ museums Museum-Pass-Musées (Switzerland, France, Germany)
Hey,would be cool to make a collection of routes/companies where you wouldn’t expect that Interrail is valid.I am starting with:Citybahn Chemnitz: on the trams with C before the digits you can use your Interrail also on the innercity tram. ATTENTION: it is not on the tramlines valid, that use exactly the same route which are operated by CVAG. Trambahia (Cadiz): it is operated by RENFE so you can use your Interrail pass. But you should get a ticket ahead from the ticket office in Cadiz. If you are boarding at a non-manned station I don’t know how it works.Looking forward to more interesting opportunities ;-)

Hi guys!Would be nice to have a collection of wrong (or missing) information on the Railplanner App.I will start:IC/IR/EC Switzerland<->Domodossola: The app says a reservation is required. Actually there is none required. Just if you continue to/from Domodossola from other Italian destinations, a reservation is needed… EN (München/Zürich)-Salzburg-Budapest: The EuroCity part of this train is not shown in the app. With the EC carriages you can travel without a reservation between Salzburg and Budapest. For many EC/RJ trains between Budapest and Vienna it says that a reservation is required. That’s not true. Only for domestic trips INSIDE Hungary (e.g. Budapest-Györ) a reservation is required (which can be easily done on a ticket machine at the station or also online). For many trains on the Bludenz-Bregenz line it says “not in pass network” if they are coming from Schruns. This is due to Montafonerbahn being not part of the railpass (Bludenz<->Schruns), but on the stretch B
Hi!Would be nice to make a collection of Interrail documentaries (and also interesting news reports etc.) here.I will start with:NDR - With Interrail through Eastern Europe (German) SRF: Documentary consisting of 3 parts “By Interrail through Europe” (German)https://www.srf.ch/play/tv/dok/video/interrail---mit-dem-zug-durch-europa--freiheit-auf-schienen-13?urn=urn:srf:video:65252cf7-6133-4c0c-8743-2391873fdfc6 https://www.srf.ch/play/tv/dok/video/interrail---freiheit-auf-schienen--mit-dem-zug-durch-europa-23?urn=urn:srf:video:24f199cd-f969-4e41-ba2b-f17f394553cchttps://www.srf.ch/play/tv/dok/video/interrail---mit-dem-zug-durch-europa--freiheit-auf-schienen-33?urn=urn:srf:video:c9baea49-886a-4d92-ba8a-acb4441f251cSpiegel/ARTE: Adventure Interrail (German, maybe there’s also a French version available?) NDR - Interrail - The best trip of my life (German) Feel free to add more!
Hi guys, same question as last year.Anyone already knows how the paper pass cover looks like in 2024?As on last years one was written 2023/24 it might be still the same (Kalambaka)? (hopefully not ^^)Thanks in advance!
Hi guys,as I haven’t seen yet any photos of the 2023 paper pass cover, wanted to ask if somebody has randomly seen it and if yes, which place is it this year?Last year it was Dinant, the year before Bacharach. Or as the paper pass might soon get scrapped, there’s no new design for 2023?
As on https://www.drehscheibe-online.de/foren/read.php?030,10260330 a woman who’s working for SBB reports, they will sell only the digital interrail pass from 01.01.23.People who want a paper pass, will be forced to order it (and not get it anymore immediately at the station!) and pay extra fees for this.Is this going to be the same in whole Europe or is only SBB starting to do it like this?
Why is it possible to exchange a paper pass into a mobile pass but not reverse?
