Hello, is there a separate way to book the in/outbound journeys or does the app automatically know you are leaving & re-entering your country (UK, in my case)? In other words, do I book my outbound normally, by searching for travel times & days, like you would for all the other journeys? Many thanks,Julia
Hi,3 issues I hope someone has experience of and answers to:we’re looking to travel over night from Messina back to the UK on 21 September (2 of us) but the Interrail app (Global Pass) is only giving me options with about 10 or so changes! When I look on Trenitalia, there are Frecciarossa and Frecciargento sleepers with just 1 or 2 changes but no option to book/reserve with interrail (none that I can see - have looked at all the discount options but no Interrail). How do I book a sleeper from Messina to London (stopping in Milan or Turin for the night)? in sicily itself, what’s the best way of getting from Trapani to Siracusa stopping off in Piazza Armerina (or Enna) on the way? Looks like buses are the best option, but maybe you’ve found a good rail route? would a ferry - with or without interrail - from Milazzo/Messina back to mainland Italy and then a train back to London from Naples or Rome be better? Thanks for any suggestions,Julia
Hello,I bought a 3-month unlimited mobile Interrail Pass on 8 May 2022. Can I activate it on April 8 2023 (ie within the 11 months of purchase) and then travel for 3 months thereafter (until June 8 2023, ie travelling beyond the 11 months after I purchased the pass)?Bascialy, as long as I activate within the 11 months, I can travel beyond the 11-month time-frame - is that correct? Many thanks,Julia
Hi, 3 related questions, please - I hope someone can clarify.I plan to use my 3-month continous pass between 1 July and 30 September. I am a UK resident:Can I use my pass BEFORE an Outbound journey? I will already be abroad when I’d like to start using my 3-month (ie on 1 July). Can I return to UK using an Inbound journey (although I won’t have left the UK on an Outbound)? Can I then have 2 Inbound journeys (instead of 1 Outbound and 1 Inbound)? I plan to travel again in August and September. I would pay for my own own Outbound (in August) but use my pass for my final Inbound journery at the end of September. OR, should I wait until August to use my Outbound journey and September to use my Inbound? In this case, would I still be able to travel in Europe BEFORE August (ie before I trigger my 1st outbound)?Basically, I need to return to the UK twice between 1 July and 30 Septmeber and would like to travel whenever in EU using the Outbound-Inbound allowance for 2 Inbounds. Many thanks for
