Another example for Germany is the GermanRailpass (only if residence out of Europe) that is valid like the One Countrypass Germany but on top you can use the Eurocity from Munich through Innsbruck/Bozen to Venice/Verona/Bologna and in Season even to Rimmini
Sadly not. The OneCountrypass is only valid on the Country that is written on the Ticket. This means you have to buy a ticket atleast to the border of the Country that the pass is issued for. There are few examples for example in Case of Germany you can use your OneCountrypass till Basel Badischer Bahnhof(German Station) or Salzburg as these are the offical borderpoints of the German Railnetwork. Another exception is the Route from Garmisch - Patenkirchen via Reutte in Tirol to Kempten this is a Railline through Austria but if you travel from a german to german Station you officaly never entered Austria :)
Different ways to check if Reservation needed or not :) Ofcourse the easy way is the Railplanner app of Eurail itself. If you search with different Railplanner like for example Scotty (ÖBB) from Austria or DB Navigator (Germany) you have on the train Details often Details with "Reservation compulsory" or "Globalpriced". Globalpriced means often for Interrail and Eurailers you have to reserve.
