Hi @rvdborgt and @AnnaB. Thanks for replying. But I can’t book a ticket with b-europe.com because it asks for my name and surname but it also asks for a pass cover number and without a correct pass cover number, I’m unable to proceed any further and can’t book the ticket. (also, I don’t have a paper pass, I have a mobile pass). Thanks
Hi @AnnaB. Nope. On the b-europe website it asks you the date and time for your journey and it asks what ticket you have - there are four options Eurail 1st, Eurail 2nd, Interrail 1st, Interrail 2nd. So I chose Eurail 1st which is what I have. Then it asks for my name and the pass cover number and it won’t accept the pass cover number that is generated starting with ‘I’. And my number that is generated is I2xx7xx7.It is one letter ‘I’ and 7 digits.I have tried in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Thanks
@AnnaB and @rvdborgt that works. Thanks
Hi @AnnaB. Thanks for that information. That answers most of my questions. I understand the activation process - at least for the first trip and that makes sense. But for the next trips 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. if I make a reservation and buy a ticket using one of the websites in the link How do I get the details of those trips into the Rail Planner and activate the 2nd day, 3rd day, etc. Does the ticket inspector look at the ticket I have printed off, or do they look at the Rail Planner, or both? Thanks
Hi. Thanks, yeah I have had a look at that. This is the part I still don’t understand,“When you travel on a train where you have a reservation you show both the reservation and the ticket (QR code) in your app.”I paid around 30 euros for a train from London to Paris Nord on 12th July in the morning. I have the tickets printed off. Do I still need to add that train journey in the app? But I will hopefully meet someone at the station and I will ask there. Thanks.
Thanks @seewulf. So what is the best way to find out this kind of information - for example, I would not have known about going from Amsterdam → Osnabruck → Hamburg. And also to do this trip - how do I know which rail company I can use with my Eurail pass and which rail company I should use? Thanks
Hi @AnnaB,Thanks, but I’m still a little bit confused (I read the link to reservations).I have unlimited 2 month pass. So in the Railplanner app I found my train for tomorrow (24.7) to Hamburg and added that to “My Trip” There is no QR code.I then went to DB train website and paid 5.90 euro for a seat.Is this all I need to do? Or do I still need to pay the $8.60 USD on the Eurail website as well? Thanks
Thank you everyone. Now I get it.Cheers.
Hi @AnnaB. Thanks for replying. Are you saying DB Bahn isn’t the correct train to get from Frankfurt to Paris and that it is SNCF? I’m a little confused with which train company does this journey (and unfortunately no Amex card). Thanks
I think most of the trains are booked - had to go another way. Thanks
