We are traveling on these dates who have first-class global passes, and we have five luggages with us. Could you help to explain the distinction between a recommended seat reservation and an optional seat reservation?
Hi, We will arrive in the EU on December 19th. (1 Senior and 2 Adults). I activated the mobile pass for the two adults on December 19th, but the Senior Passenger's birthday is on December 21st (60th). I am unable to activate the pass because it will only be valid on December 21st. I must have missed or forgotten that her first trip begins on her birthday. We paid for a seat reservation on the 20th of December. Is it possible for her to board the train and we will just pay the difference or a rail fare? Thanks in advance
Hi, we bought a Global Pass for three travelers. Some train trips have now been booked with seat reservations. However, since we are travelling from Bern or Basel to Prague at night, I can see some glitches or differences on the website timings and app planner. This has been added to our trip list since we opted for the no-reservation option. However, upon using the website today, this is now showing with a seat requirement. Will there be any chance to book a seat at the main station?
Please can you confirm that this is the best Global Pass we should purchase for our trip this December. This would be our itinerary plan.Hope to receive you earliest response. Hi, we will be staying at Switzerland mainly in Bern. Is Eurail Global Pass valid/works for public train, ferries, bus in Basel, Zurich, Interlaken? We would like to ride a bus and ferry going to Lake Brienz and hop in to ride at Harder Kulm (Funicular). Will cable cars be also included or has a discount only? Hello Everyone, Could you please confirm if this is the right train route going to the Strasbourg Christmas Market? This is our first time visiting a traditional Christmas market. Is the place near the main train station, as we want to spend until early evening and then go back to Paris? Thank you in advance.
