Dear Interrail Team,I have requested an exchange of my 2020 global pass after my journey was interrupted due to covid measures in spring last year. Following your advice I asked for exchange at the train station where I purchased the original pass. The staff there had no clue and told me to contact Interrail directly. That's what I did more than a week ago and I'm still waiting for a reply. I want to start traveling on 11th August and would really appreciate your reply before that date.Thanks,Marco
Hi all,I’m from the Netherlands. And will travel Monday 19 July, this I’ll be my first time traveling alone. At the moment the positive tests in the Netherlands are rising a lot compared with a few weeks ago. Now I want to know how people from my country are thinking about the current situation. I hope, someone from the Netherlands where I can connect to and talk about the situation, maybe I’ll see different aspect or who someone who have more experience with interrail traveling. So here is my situation: I am coming in from California, my first day in Europe is September 5th (Madrid), then to Barcelona (September 7th), then on to Switzerland (September 10), where I plan to be for several days and travel within the country.I bought a 5-day within 1 month first class global pass, so my question is, what counts as a travel day? Is local transportation included and counts as a travel day?Thanks
Hello everyone,Past sunday I decided to do some intterrailing this summer. I waited for it to the last minute because of corona. I did the same last year and with the priority shipping option I got my paper pass very fast. This year however, that option was not avaible and normal shipping took to long to arrive. I bought the mobile pass but instantly regretted it, seeing all the problems that people are faced with it. It also feels very insecure to have my pass on my phone, which may get damaged or stolen which leaves me stranded, my holiday ruined and my wallet robbed. I'm still going to travel the 16th, but does anyone else feel the same way about this? Are there maybe some people with actual good experiences using the mobile pass?

It's my sixth day out of seven. I have the Interrail Pass for 30 days. Everything was alright till yesterday. Yesterday evening the train guards let me and my friend go but there was no ticket on their devices after they scanned our QR codes. They even told us that the ticket is "way too expired". The situation has repeated today. We are in Nordrhein-Westfalen in Germany. I can speak German only a little so we had to use the translator. It's stressful. I am worried and I don't know who I should contact and what I should do. Tomorrow we are going home, to Poland.
Yesterday i bought an interrail ticket for me and 3 other people. I am still waiting for a confirmation email or some sort but it does not seem to be comming. I’ve tried all ways of contacting but the phone number i could find didn’t work, the help bots couldn’t do any good and there is still no reply to my mail.
Hello ! I bought 2 mobile pass but I am not able to add them on the app. It says « your details don’t match ». I tried to reload and reload the app or to add the passes on another mobile phone but it still don’t work. I am supposed to travel, within a few days everything is planned but the customer still don’t answer so I can’t book my first travel. Is someone able to help me ? Thank you very much !! Mélanie.
My son and his friend purchased the 6 day per month and under his friends app it says she has used all six days but only has 5 days of travel booked. The 6th day which they haven’t booked is not on the app. My son is doing the exact same trip and his app is correct with 5 days of travel and one free day. They have updated the app and restarted the phone. No change! Please advise as they are on a train right now. and thank you for your help.
Hi! For people who have travelled before with Eurail and have had issues. Have you been able to go directly to the local station of the country you’re in and get help with your passes? I had an issue on the way to Paris but the Eurail customer service is very backed up as you may know. I’m hoping the train workers can help out with my problem. If someone can respond with any information within the next few hours or tomorrow that would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
Hello everyone,has anyone ever had the problem that your phone broke before your journey where you had already added your mobile pass and now you can’t add it on the new phone? (“This pass is already activated on another device”).Is there a possibility to add it on the new phone and deactivate it on the old one?
Hi everyoneNext weeks I am going to travel with a friend using the Global Youth E-Passes (7 in a month) that I received as a winner of a contest. I have planned the trip and also activate the pass. However it seems I am not able to book any seats (We have some journeys that require it), because when I log in to the account I created on EURail is not possible to use the booking planner. There is no reservation linked and when I try to manually create a trip (by copying that I have on my phone) it asks me info I do not have like the ISSUER (moreover, the examples describe the situation in the case you have a paper ticket). My account seems… not linked to any ticket. I do not know if there is something I do not catch or there is a problem. Can someone help me, please? Many thanks in advance.
Hi, my phone recently broke while traveling. This means that my interrail pass cant be used on that device anymore. I already had contact with interrail and they unregistered my pass from my phone so i can add my pass on another device. My question is: is it possible to add my pass on my friends device so we have two passes on the same device? If this is not an option, does anyone have another suggestion?
I have purchased and activated a 3 day in 1 month Poland Mobile Interrail Pass in first class. The activation process went smoothly. I added my 1st travel day and selected the itinerary. I was able to display the barcoded ticket. With this I obtained my reservations for my journey to Gdańsk from Warsaw.The next day on the morning of travel the pass had disappeared from the app. It was prompting me to add a pass (which of course I already had without issue). The only way to have the pass reappear was to delete and reinstall the app. The pass is now showing but it will not let me add any journeys and will not display a barcoded ticket for the pass. I am furious. There is no support and no advice from Eurrail whatsoever. Reading the terms and conditions they try and wash their hands of ANY problems with the app. Basically you are on your own subject to being fined by the train operator because you cannot provide a valid ticket because the app is faulty and useless. Hi everyone, I am planning go to the Greek islands this September. I am looking for the best plan to pick up ferrys and visit different islands during 4 days. I just saw on eurail that it is posible to make unlimited travels with the Greek island pass 4 days in 1 month.Anyone knows how it works? It is necessary to make reservation first or I can pick up any Ferry? Thanks.
