I have tried to send support ticket 3 times and I keep getting an email stating I don’t have a pass, even though I am logged in with the same number and currently using my pass daily. I have a confirmation email also and chatbot states they can not find me. I need help. We literally had to sleep on the ground with our children due to getting bumped from train for not reserving seats and then all seats got reserved. We just want one of our pass days back that we couldn’t use because of this situation. How can we get help?
Pay again for 1st class?
Hey! I wonder if anyone can give me a help.A week ago I bought 4 Eurail passes (4 days within 1 month) in 1st class for my family.When I was booking our first train journey from Barcelona to Lyon, I noticed that there is a seat charge to make seat reservation in 1st or 2nd class.As I said, I bought 1st class eurail passes.Do I really need to pay an extra to travel in 1st class?Regards,
We bought 1st class tickets. We booked a travel day on our 7 days pass and then got bumped from train due to not making/paying extra for seat reservations. Agent said train was completely reserved. We then couldn’t get a train to our destination for 2 days so we had to fly. How can we get our travel day back?
1st class seat reservations with 2nd class global pass shows as allowed and cheaper
Hello,I have seen variations of this question but none quite answer my specific concern.So, perhaps someone can offer some insight. We have 4 Eurail 2nd class passes and we’re trying to reserve Nice-Marseille on the https://travel.b-europe.com site. This site is provided on the eurail site as one of the alternate options when booking seat reservations. The site asks for our eurail ticket class and I promptly provide the correct info, 2nd class passes. The site then shows us two options for tickets, 2nd class tickets and 1st class tickets. The first class tickets are actually cheaper (68 Euro v 80 Euro) and if I continue, it will still acknowledge that we have indeed 2nd class passes and have 1st class tickets in our cart. It even details the discount applied. So my question is can I buy and use these first class tickets?I read so many answers detailing that since first is more expensive you’ll wind up paying the difference but in this instance 1st class is actually cheaper and I
Eurail Global Pass usage query
I am a first time traveler, so I kindly request all veterans to please guide me a bitI will be going for a business work to Denmark. After which I will be travelling to Berlin and Paris for a trip of 7 days. If I purchase a Eurail purchase of Europe section for 7days, will I will be able to use the trains from Aalborg to Berlin, Berlin to Paris without buying individual tickets? Also, will I be able to use trains to travel inside Berlin or travel inside Paris for roaming purpose from one place to another with the same pass?I have another query, Is there any limitation on number of trains/trips I can take in a day using the pass or I can take any number of trains within those 7 days? Choose seats for reservations on Vienna - Bupapest - Prague - Berlin
Hi allBooking some routes as above - it’s simple to book reservations (even when not required), but on any of these journeys, is there a way to choose seats (either prior to booking reservation or after)? Travelling as a family of four, so keen to try and book tables or at least together.I saw something on the OBB site detailing seat selection when booking on the app, but perhaps that’s not available for, for example, Vienna to Budapest? Can’t find it on the app when booking.Any advice appreciated, thanks.
Hi allAfter some advice. I purchased my eurail pass back in December. I read that they needed to activate it at the time of purchase (this wasn’t an option as my partner did not have his new passport yet), or at the station before our first journey.My mobile pass is prompting me to ‘activate pass’, so I am a little confused with what it says re activation on the website.I have added two journeys to our trip, but have not received a QR code as yet for our journeys. Is this because our passes have not been activated? I am so confused the more I read. I’d love some help.Kind regards Danielle

Hello, I see this topic has been debated before, but reading through the forum I don’t find a definitive answer.So here is the question: can I use two inbound trips or two outbound trips from my country of residence, or does it have to necessarily be one inbound and one outbound?The Interrail website/rules state that it should be one inbound and one outbound.The Eurail app doesn’t really seem to care, as long as no more than two days are used. But I never tried.The answers to previous similar questions on this forum all say that it “should” be ok to do two inbounds or two outbounds, but I don’t find a solid it “IS” ok to do so.Does anyone know for sure? I don’t want to be in the position of having the app reject my travel plan when I’m about to board a train.Thank you in advance for your input.
Two questions about the app (Android)
I have 2 questions about the app, I searched but couldn't find an answer.Why isn't there a normal calendar when searching for a train? I'm planning a trip more than 2 months from now, and my finger is getting very tired of clicking over 60 times the right arrow to go to the next date. And if there is a real clickable calendar, can you please tell me where to find it?Is there a bug in the app? After I added a train to my itinerary I can't open it, the little downward arrow is dead, meaning I can't see all the stations where a train stops, I can't see the facilities on a train, and most important: I don't see the link to reservation options. I don't want to delete the app and install it again, as I'm afraid I'll lose all trains I already added to my itinerary. Please tell me what to do to repair this.
panic mode reservations Brussels to London and London to Paris
We travel next week. I bought my rail pass with the intention of going from brussels to london and then london to paris. But I can’t make a reservation now! There is none available. HELP I have spent month planning this trip and now I can’t even get from place to place.
I have paid for legs of our trip with necessary reservations but they don’t show up in the planner. It says that there aren’t any reservations. How do I find them? Can you add all the different legs of our travel so that they are on the app? I paid for first class tickets but it seems like we won’t always be able to travel first class so should I change it to second class? I didn’t know that there would be so many additional fees to reserve on top of the eurail pass.
Mobile Pass / Trip backup
Hi,I think this subject must’ve been covered a thousand times in these forums but I either don’t quite get the restrictions or can’t quite believe a more solid backup solution isn’t available.I currently have my trip (for the whole family) on my mobile phone. It’s a three week trip spanning about 6 countries in Europe. My fear is losing my phone as there appears to be no way of having a back-up. I read somewhere you can transfer your trip details onto another phone but how do you do this if you’ve lost it?! (you can’t seem to have simultaneous duplicates!)The Interrail website doesn’t seem to have a cloud duplicate of your phone app either - this seems crazy but I believe it is correct.Any ideas on what to do (apart from not lose or break your phone) would be very useful. The stress and cost implications of losing your one travel pass is doing my head in!
Inbound/outband in one day
Hi!I have the global interrail pass for 7 days in one month with 2 inbound/outbound days. I already used 6 of my days and 1 outbound journey. That means that I have one travel day left with the inbound/outbound option. The question is. Because I already got back to my country by plane and I still want to use this last day. Can I go for one day by train to a city (in Germany) and during the same day go back to my home country (Poland)? Can it be possible to go in and out from my country during one travel day using the inbound/outbound?
One-Country-Pass Sweden: Train to and from Oslo included..?
Hello fellow travelers. I am currently planning a trip through (mostly) Sweden with a friend. I want to travel the following route: Copenhagen (Airport) - Malmo - Gotenborg - Oslo - Orebro - Uppsala - StockholmNow I am not sure if I need to buy a Global pass or if the one-country pass for Sweden suffices? I am questioning due to the statement on:https://www.eurail.com/en/get-inspired/top-destinations/sweden-train, where it says that trains to Copenhagen and Oslo would be included - but I really can’t find any more information on this anywhere on the internet. Do you have more information/experiences by chance..?
