hi

I need to get from Geneva to Montreux on the morning of Aug 6th because I have the panoramic train from Montreux to Interlaken booked for 9:34am. Originally I saw a direct train at 8:10am from Geneva to Montreux that would get us there in time for the 9:34 train. I don’t see that train anymore instead there is 7:42am train with one stop. Do train schedules change often? Or can expect this to be final?

I am wondering if we should just get to Montreux the night before instead so that we are relaxed for our 9:34am scenic train?

thanks

Yes there are works around Montreux. Schedule has been updated quite late but it will remain the same until 6th August.

There will be plenty of trains towards Lausanne/Montreux, I wouldn't worry at all.

In my opinion Lausanne is a nicer city than Geneva (although hilly).
