Hi!In may I will travel to Amsterdam. I have to decide between buying the ticket on the öbb nightjet website or buying the interrail (for the comodity of using it to travel in the netherlands during my stay).I have to know the total cost of the interrail (4 days package) included the seat reservation. If I look in the timetable of the app it says I don’t have to book a seat for the nightjet (Zurich-Amsterdam and return) but on the öbb website the seat reservation is required. If I choose a ticket in the öbb website it shows me the TOTAL COST so I don’t have an idea of the cost for the couchette resevation ONLY. I need to know the cost of ONLY the couchette resevation. The information are nowhere to find…Can someone please help me :-) Thank you!

TLDR - lots of cancellations, aborted trip midway.Just had a nightmare trying to get to my final destination in the Arctic Circle by train.First train within the UK and connecting with Eurostar to Brussels was mostly fine...until we got through the tunnel and were told of an extending delay due to snow on the line (although there seemed to be more snow on my shoes than on the lines were were travelling).The next train from Brussels to Hamburg (night train) via Cologne was more than 2 hours later and would not make the Cologne/Hamburg connection in time...so I chose to stay overnight in Brussels and continue my journey the following day...albeit with having to change all my future plans to run a day later (and use up the only spare travel day I had on my pass). Whilst waiting in Hamburg I got notified that my night train from Stockholm to Narvik was cancelled, so booked for the next night...and decided to spend the night in Stockholm.Left Brussels extra-early to compensate for any furth

Hello,This is just a quick question! Me and my friends are thinking about purchasing the seven travel days in one month pass. If we start on the 1st of August does this mean we have to finish on 31st of August or the 30th. I am not sure as ofcourse the month has 31 days instead of 30. Please let me know, Thank you

Hello !I am a young (18y.o, 19 when I’ll travel) railway enthusiast from France. I call myself a railroad photographer (what some people call a “trainspotter”). I have been taking photos of trains in France and its neighboring countries for several years now.I entered the Disvover EU Spring 2025 lottery and won a pass. I would like to travel to a European country in July 2026 where I can indulge in railway photography. I like taking pictures of “old trains” (I'm talking here about old trains in commercial operation, which would be relatively rare and impressive for a Western European like me) possibly on small lines or on lines offering breathtaking scenery.I like northern countries (Scandinavia, the Baltic states, ...). Above all, I would like to get away from it all and discover a country that is completely different from France (so why not Eastern Europe, such as Poland, Hungary, Romania, etc.)? Finally, I'm not a big fan of big cities and overly touristy destinations.Could you give

Hello,I have a reservation for the night train from Bucuresti to Vienna for tomorrow, but since around 2 days, the train does not appear in my Interrail App anymore. It still exists on the ÖBB website (where I also got the reservation from), which makes me wonder how it disappeared from the Rail Planner App.  Any idea if there are any train disruption I should know of?  Also: My reservation starts from Bucuresti though I want to hop in only in Brasov. Do you think that will be a problem?

I have bought seat reservations on Eurostar from London to Paris on the 1st of April at 11:31am. Booking number MYRW6R. How do I link this trip into my Eurail app? I was told I didn't need to (that my pass is my booking train ticket) but I'm worried that I need to do another step like ‘link my Eurail pass app to my Eurostar seat reservation tickets”. Does somebody knows how to make a seat reservation from Gotenborg tot Hamburg for july? When can I make this reservation? Is this only 120 days in advance?

Karlsruhe nach Strasbourg, 2. von Strasbourg nach Lyon  und 3.von Lyon weiter nach BarcelonaIch habe eine Interrail Ticket und brauche nur noch Reservierungen.. Ab wann kann man die Sitzplätze reservieren und am besten wo für welchen Abschnitt? DB zeigt beispielsweise an das die Reservierung erst ab 01.04 möglich ist ? Bei SNCF finde ich keine Möglichkeit zu hinterlegen dass ich nur Reservierung benötige? Danke Grüße Peter

I know/understand that pass holder fares from Istanbul to Sofia can only be bought in person at a ticket counter in Istanbul.Unfortunately I can’t afford to take the risk that having made it to Istanbul I can’t get back out again.Is there any mechanism at all that I can use to *reserve* my place on the train, but only present my pass when I make it to Istanbul?For info/context, I aim to arrive in Istanbul around Thursday 2nd April and leave that Sunday night.I even thought of flying to Istanbul on the cheapest flight possible, booking my train and flying home, but it rather blows the “overland from Istanbul” plan if I have to fly there to get the ticket.

Hi,we are planning to travel from Zurich to north Italy, then to trieste and from there to Austria.I looked at the planner and for every part of the travel seems a good option available without reservations (sometimes a bit longer). We want our freedom so we will try this and maybe a last minute reservation if that is possible in februari.  Then there is one part of the travel that is not so clear:We are planning to travel from trieste to Vienna. We would like to do a stop over in Graz for an afternoon, but it does not seem possible with super little trains going in the morning. Also it says you don’t need reservations but there is a supplement, not giving any further information on the supplements.i found in another forum topic from a few years ago the following answer:This supplement exist only on trains to Italy that are run by DB and ÖBB. I’m looking to book the sleeper from Stuttgart to Zagreb on 24th June 2026. I’m booking through the Nightjet website. The page lists “Construction work - Rail replacement bus service”, but I can’t find any more information on whta this involves (or might involve, it might not be finalised yet). Does anyone know where I can find more information on the rail replacement bus service? If it is very disruptive, we might book an alternative route. Thanks!

Hi all!I am planning a trip from Rome to Zürich, but due to personal reasons it’d be more comfortable for me to take a Frecciarosa at 16:25 to Milano and then take last EC to Zurich, rather than earlier. I would have around 40 minutes planned change in Milano, but here is my question:If I wouldn't make it for the change to EC, there’s a RE80 to Lugano and after 4 minutes change an IC to Zürich, but if the RE would not make it for the 4 minutes change, I’d be stuck in Lugano. In that case, would I be entitled for accomodation due to AJC? It requires reasonable change time, which is fulfilled for the original trip, but not for the “emergency” RE to Lugano.Best regards!

Hey !! 👋🏻 Me and my friend have been trying to plan our interrail trip the past few weeks and it's so overwhelming we would love some help from someone who's been there.We are from Greece and the original plan of our trip was:Greece to Ljubljana by plane on 3/4. Stay there for 2 days.Ljubljana to Bern on 5/4. Stay 'till 8/4. (3 nights)Bern to Amsterdam 8/4 - 11/4. (3 nights)Amsterdam to Paris 11/4. Stay 'till 13/4. (2 nights)Paris to Barcelona on 13/4 and stay until 16/4 (3 nights).Then fly back from Barcelona to Greece. The thing is. Firstly we would like to explore Switzerland's nature, Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen etc. however these are around an hour from Bern and there is not connection from Ljubljana to Interlaken. So we would have to go to Bern (explore there a bit) and then use another travel day to go from Bern to Interlaken etc and then back again to Bern. Do you think we can see everything mentioned in less than a day? And basically use 1 day at bern and the second at Interla

I'm attempting to make a booking from Australia. The booking is for a trip on April 28, 2026, from Ancona to Patras. I insert all my and my wife's details, as well as the discount details for our Global Eurail pass and our passports. However, when I click on the 'Port Agencies' button, I receive an error message - ‘default extra not found’. See the second picture below.If I leave that blank, then I receive the error message 'Accept the required details to continue with the reservation.' See the first picture below.I have tried booking without the 'early bird' feature and received the same problem. I have tried different types of browsers to no avail. The problem occurs with either credit card or PayPal payment types.
