Hallo Community,Ich will auch endlich meinen Traum erfüllen und Europa mithilfe des Interrail Global Pass entdecken.Ich möchte mit der Option 7 Tage in einem Monat reisen, frage mich aber, ob man über zwei Monate hinweg reisen kann (z.B Ende August - Anfang September), so dass die 7 Tage innerhalb von 30/31 Tagen gelten oder ob man in einem festen Monat reisen muss (z.B nur September oder nur August).Ich würde mich über eine Antwort freuen :) 

I am trying to book the 01:06 Offenburg to Hanau Hbf, on the 8th August (as shown in image). All signs point towards it being available, but when i reach a certain page it tells me the reservation ‘cannot be made’. Can someone help me find this trip elsewhere or diagnose the issue? Please!

Hi everyone!I’m planning a trip from Paris Est to Luxembourg on August 23rd (departing at 10:40 AM and arriving at 1:33 PM) using a 1st Class Interrail Pass.Looking at the timetable, part of the journey is operated by a rail replacement bus. However, when I try to book my seat reservation through the Interrail self-service tool, it only allows me to reserve the seat for the TGV train segment.I’d appreciate your help with a couple of quick questions: Is the seat reservation only required and possible for the TGV portion of the route? For the replacement bus, is it enough to just show my active Interrail Pass on the Rail Planner app when boarding? Thanks in advance for any tips or recent experiences on this route!

My wife and I have just returned from spending a week in Rome.  We travelled from  London and back on a four day pass.  Our planned route out was London to Paris; Paris to Lyon; overnight in Lyon; Lyon to Milan; Milan to Rome.  A few days before we were due to travel out we learnt that there was a national rail strike on the day we were scheduled to make the two journeys getting us from Lyon to Rome.    I won’t go into the detail of what we did in terms of rearranging our travel plans and having back up plans should things not work out, other than to say that we spent a lot more money than intended.   Imagine my astonishment, therefore, when arriving at Milan Centrale station to discover that although many regional trains were cancelled, not a single long distance train was cancelled and virtually all were running on time.  Had we simply taken no notice of the official advice about potential cancellations we would have arrived in Rome significantly earlier than we did.

I have a reservation from Lyon Part Dieu to Gare du Nord. However, I have discovered that the train I'm booked on starts at Lyon Perrache, which is near my hotel. Can I amend the reservation free if charge so that it starts at Lyon Perrache, or should I just buy a ticket for the journey between the the 2 stations - it's only a small amount.

Bonjour, je n'arrive pas à réserver de place assise gratuitement grâce au tarif parcours d'approche Interrail prévu pour les résidents français. Au guichet en gare SNCF on me dit de passer par Interrail. Mais Interrail ne me dit rien. Je voulais donc savoir certains ont réussi à avoir la réservation de place assise gratuite dans un TGV français pour un trajet jusqu'à la frontière française svp ? J'ai pourtant bien expliqué à deux agents de la SNCF au guichet TGV INOUI vers chez moi mais les deux dames semblaient ne pas être trop informées, elles m'ont dit que leur logiciel avait changé il y a un an et qu'ils ne pouvaient pas me faire ticket gratuit et d'un autre côté elles m'ont dit ensuite que la SNCF ne faisait pas ça du tout, et que c'était Interrail, apparemment sur l'application Interrail on peut réserver gratuitement une place assise. Hors, je n'ai rien trouvé de cela en passant sur l'application mobile puis le site.  Merci beaucoup

J’aimerais avoir vos conseils les plus importants afin de mieux me préparer à ce tour d’Europe, et j’aimerais faire ces villes à partir de Paris : Amsterdam - Berlin - Prague - Vienne - Venise - Milan - Genève ! J’ai hâte d’avoir vos conseils, et j’ai une question : après avoir acheté un pass, puis-je l’utiliser dans tous les trains de ces pays cités ? I am trying to reserve seats from Brussels - Midi to London St Pancras, but when I enter Brussels the list of stations there does not include Midi. It does allow me to book from Brussels - Centraal to London St Pancras, but it goes to Midi and then we have to change trains and I want to avoid that.I know that others have booked from Midi - how do I get the computer to allow it please?

Hello everyone,At first thank you for your help.I am a Belgian student I would like visit a close friend some weekends but she lives in the south France near Aix en Provence. Normal tickets can become very expensive and I would go there only for short periods because of work during the week. I wanted to know if there exists an abonnement to travel in Belgium to Belgium (from my city to the capital) then from Belgium to Aix en Provence (from Brussels capital) ?I am looking also at flexybus but travels are sometimes too long.Thank you for your advices in advance,Best,

Hi ! I’m new here, and I’m planning to travel to Scotland from France. I just had a few questions about the pass.  1-When booking my seat is optional, do you advise me to book it anyway (it adds extra fees to the travel) or is it usually easy to just hop on the train without booking ? I mean do I need to secure my ride because it’s often crowded ?  2- I’m travelling from France, which is my home country, do I have a time limit to reach England ? Can I book separate trains on different websites in order to reach England ? Or am I forced to book the itinerary suggested on inter rail website ? Do I need to “declare” this first journey to get out of my home country somehow ? Does it count in the 15 days of the pass ?  thanks in advance to the kind people who’ll take the time to answer me !  Jeanne 

For backup purposes I have shared some of my past trips with a share link, one that looks like this:https://eurailapp.com/share/trip?id=IDENTIFIER&brand=interrail&type=listI just realized that the one I exported over 1 month ago is now displaying “Internal Server Error” while freshly exported ones are displayed properly. I no longer have access to these trips (changed phone). Do you know how can I possibly recover this?

Bought the euro rail global pass 10 days within two months. Not sure about activation. I have read and researched so much I think I’ve completely confused myself. Flying into Germany and taking a train to Amsterdam so  that is when I will activate my pass. Will I need to do anything else? Since it is not a continuous pass, will I have to activate it every day I plan to use it? when I bought it. My trip was only 12 days but now I’ve changed my mind and I’m staying 25 days. now I’m thinking I am going to run out of days. The countries I’m visiting, Germany, Netherlands, France, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Switzerland. I figure Switzerland is the most expensive country I’ll be visiting.  I know the euro pass gives me discounts on the ferries, cogwheel trains, aerial gondolas, etc. but  if I don’t use any days in Switzerland, will I still be able to use the Euro pass benefits for these things. I will be staying in the Lucerne area last 3 nights (flying home from Zürich) would I b

I am leaving today and cannot activate muly travel day. No errors are displayed and Discover support only works on weekdays. Need urgent help. It says I have not been online in 24hrs (I have of course) Thanks.  

I assume this is not a problem as I have purchased my seat reservations for our Eurostar journeys between London to Paris.  However there appears to be a mismatch between the times shown both for departure and arrivals between the planner and the official Eurostar schedules.    As far as I can see the mismatch is for all trains available for booking this year.

So I got a pass, added all my trips and activated it but when I wanted to reserve seats the application told me to add a traveller I tried to login using my pass number and last name but it gave an error details don't match 

Travelling from Amsterdam to Copenhagen on 8th August.  An email received  on 25 July from DB says to find alternative connection for our journey because of a timetable change but the info on their email shows a connection we did not book.  First leg and final leg match our journey but the second leg has a different train listed though the times are the same.  First leg 1000 hours Amsterdam to Osnabrück Hbf   ICE 145Second Leg /journey 1323 hours Osnabrück Hbf to Hamburg Hbf  says ‘ICE 2532 Direction Hamburg Hbf’  however this is not the train I have a booking for.  We booked /have a reservation for the  ICE 202 arriving Hamburg 1515 hours.Final leg/journey is 1628 hours Hamburg Hbf to Copenhagen on the  RJ 13462 Direction Koebenhavn Following the link on their email I get to a page that has a link to the pdf for our original reservations and further below the seat reservation info there is then a heading saying  ‘Your alternative travel itinerary on Sat 8. However, today I got an email asking me to log in to the DiscoverEU app, even though I’m already logged in. When I check the "My passes" section, I can see my name and the pass, but if I try to view the details, the app says my phone is offline—even though it isn't. Can anyone help me?
