My partner and I are planning to buy two Interrail Switzerland One Country Passes for a trip to Switzerland, we are staying in Grindelwald from 14-17 September. I wanted to confirm a couple of things about regional coverage in the Jungfrau area.

1. Are the regional trains between Grindelwald, Wengen, Lauterbrunnen and Mürren fully included with the pass, or only discounted?

2. Are the boat rides on Lake Brienz/Lake Thun fully included?

3. Is there a discount on the Grindelwald-First cable car and the Männlichen cable car (from Grindelwald and from Wengen)? If so, what percentage?

Thanks very much for your help.

  1. Included are Interlaken to Mürren, Wengen and Grindelwald. Also see the validity map. Wengen - Kleine Scheidegg - Grindelwald and Kleine Scheidegg - Jungfraujoch have a 25% discount. Wilderswil - Schynige Platte has a 50% discount.
  2. They're included.
  3. There's a 50% discount on those cable cars. Also see the same validity map.

Also note that you don't need a travel day if you only get a discount.
